We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist familiar with the utilities sector
who knows parts and is passionate about providing non-stop customer service.
Managing parts and inventory for our customers/partners ( Plumbing, electrical,
wastewater pumps, sewer/septic services, lift/pump stations, etc.)
Ensuring proper procedure is followed to source parts.
Providing an outstanding and a very high level of customer service with our partners
Works in unison with the Office Manager and team ensuring all daily/weekly/monthly
reconciliation items are handled per policy and procedure guide
Addressing customer sales/service questions and problems quickly
Shifting into a high gear and bringing a high energy to our NAPA parts counter at our
Helping team members when working with customers or finding auto parts
Navigating computer and paper catalog systems
Working towards continuous improvement with our processes and procedures
Participates in the development of specifications for equipment, products, or substitute
Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to
determine reasonable prices.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Technical Certification or Associate's/ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,
Finance, or a related field preferred
Professional fluency in written and spoken English is REQUIRED
Conversational fluency in written and spoken Spanish is REQUIRED
Must have a minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience working in Procurement
Prefer 1 year of experience in Utilities Service, Parts procurement, and/ or Supply Chain
& LogisticsFamiliarity and experience with e-commerce tools including electronic requests for
quotes, reverse auctions.
Familiarity with office software and phone systems
Must be enthusiastic, organized, and have a willingness to learn new tasks
General office skills including all Microsoft Programs (Excel is a must)
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent communication skills
